Our Projects

We have delivered a wide range of SplashSave Projects through our fund raising and the support of our funding partners. We then connect with local providers to create a sustainable approach for those facing barriers to receiving this learning, or are most at risk from drowning.

Check out some of our recent projects below.

Manawatu, NZ

SplashSave partnered with Sport Manawatu to extend our outreach to the refugee community in Palmerston North, Levin, Feilding, Dannevirke, Woodville, and Tararua. This collaboration provided a wonderful opportunity to engage with older youth, imparting valuable skills and knowledge to help them navigate and adapt to their new environment.

Rotorua, NZ

This collaboration between SplashSave and Water Safety New Zealand resulted in a fantastic initiative for Early Childhood Education Centres in higher risk communities. The SplashSave programme packs, distributed as part of this partnership, not only resonated well with the kids but also saw active involvement from kindy teachers. The success of this joint effort highlights the positive impact when organisations come together to promote water safety and education.

Tokoroa, NZ

SplashSave proudly collaborated with South Waikato in Tokoroa, where we conducted a training program for their swim instructors. This initiative ran in parallel with our Community Outreach programme, drawing an awesome attendance. The positive outcome is evident, with the community now better equipped to empower parents and teach young children the fundamental principles of water safety. Bringing people together by visiting the local pool to learn together has been a real highlight.
